Namaste and Welcome to Aamako Sapana Home Stay!

My name is Rojina Karki and this is my family. Based in Kathmandu, our homestay is the dream of my mother who sacrificed all her dreams just because she was born as a girl, and she had no chance to continue her studies and enter the job market after the arranged marriage.

 

After hosting international volunteers via a local NGO for a decade, we decided to stand up and create our independent homestay, whose aim is to remove conservative social values, by promoting local development, education for all, and empowerment for everyone through sustainable tourism. 

 

We provide homestay both in Dhungedhara, Kathmandu, and in the village of Mallaj, the gateway to Mustang, in the Himalayas. Whether you stay for two days or five months, we are pleased to host you as a family member.

As a qualified trekking guide and a graduate in Tourism Management, I can give you support to discover authentic Nepal and to organize your sightseeing tours and trekking adventures.
